MOMMA I DID IT

Often times we forget how a simple feel of accomplishment is today Logan reminded me that even a small accomplishment is a reason to celebrate.Logan my son will be starting school in August. So Robert and I decided it was high time we told him how to write. Logan already knows what letters look like and so we felt this would be the next step. So Robin found some workbooks at a yard sale and brought them over. We have refered to these workbooks as Logan's Homework. Well today I decided to pull the letters workbook out. After much struggling Logan wrote the letter A B and C. Felling very proud of himself he went running though the house screaming MOMMA I DID IT I FINALLY DID IT.AS I looked at this workbook and his letters all iI could is feel his excitment. This of coursed ended in Logan wanting to call everybody and telling them what he had done. Then after all calls were made Logan and I ended the whole ordeal with a little dance. This got me to thinking how often do we do we accomplish things in our lives and just shrugged them off without and thought. I think Logan has the right idea we should all be happy and thankful over all the simple things. I think tomorrow I am going to try to remeber that when I get up in the morning to head out to work with a class room full of screaming two year olds. And when the day is over I may do a little dance to the car and say to my self yay I did it I survived yet another day.

  1. Isn't it great to see them make changes and learn so much in such a short time? There will be more to come.
